Topeak Hexus 16 Multitool VeloFred May 05, 2010
Topeak Hexus 16 Multitool Topeak Hexus 16 has been my friend on every long ride for at least 3 years. This tool is amazing, it has anything you might need to do small repairs on the road. Instead of carrying all tools separately, chaintool, spokes wrench , tire levers, allen key you have it all in one and it does not weight much. Chaintool worked perfectly fine on different chains. I do not think I would look for another multi-tool to use on my randonneuring adventures. Highly recommended product.  ...read more

Rainlegs Jeans Design Velofred April 26, 2010
Rainlegs Jeans Design 300k Brevet had to be rainy, but instead it was very chilly early in the morning, we started at 4 am. First 20 minutes it was fine, but then my upper legs were freezing, since I was wearing my cycling bibs only. Luckily I was getting ready for some showers and brought Rainlegs with me. Without even stopping I rolled them down and... \"vuala\" , it was very comfortable and warm. Rainlegs is certainly an essential item for longer rides and I will not ride without them especially in spring.   ...read more

Planet Bike Mud Flaps 45 mm x 130 mm - pair Velofred March 24, 2010
Planet Bike Mud Flaps 45 mm x 130 mm - pair I spent some time trying to find right mudflaps for my 45 mm SKS fenders. Leather flap such as Brooks one would be really heavy for a plastic fender. I could probably make something myself, but I don\'t think it would look as good as these flaps. Bottom line, these flaps are recommended if you need to extend your mudguards and you are not really looking for some classic look.  ...read more

Brooks B17 Standard Saddle - black Mike December 19, 2009
Brooks B17 Standard Saddle - black This is my first brooks saddle...I've only ridden it a handful of times, but i can feel it getting more comfortable with each ride. I now understand what everyone is raving about. It's mounted on my converted mountain bike I use for day rides and commutes. And works very well with somewhat upright cycling position on this bike. My one criticism is that this saddle lacks the fore and aft adjust-ability. Because I think I would be even more comfortable if I could move the saddle back about 5 m  ...read more
