First 20 minutes it was fine,but then my upper legs were freezing, since I was wearing my cycling bibs only. Luckily I was getting ready for some showers and brought Rainlegs with me. Leather flap such as Brooks one would be really heavy for a plastic fender. I could probably make something myself, but I don\'t think it would look as good as these flaps. I now understand what everyone is raving about. It's mounted on my converted mountain bike I use for day rides and commutes. And works very well with somewhat upright cycling position on this bike. My one criticism is that this saddle lacks the fore and aft adjust-ability.
